Hard Drives we Recovered
Damaged External Drive laptop from Carl S. Phoenix Arizona
Hi, my external Samsung HD300LD drive is experiencing a clicking/knocking sound when I try to connect it. The drive sounds like it spins up and the head starts clicking right from the beginning with a constant or intermittent sound. Can you please provide me with some kind of quote and advise if the drive is fixable?
Thank You for your time and great recovery result.
Dropped Seagate ST3750640AS Desktop Hard Drive 750 Gb laptop from The Ohio State University, Columbus OH, United States
Clicking hard drive. Here is the drive failure story. Electrician came into the office to activate new electrical outlets and turned off the power to the office. This caused a premature shutdown of the Mac Pro workstation. In the few days after this event occurred, the drive would not show up on the desktop immediately upon system power-up -- taking a long time to mount and appear. I ran ddrescue on it and it got to a 51GB recovered file before stopping completely. Drive will no longer mount at all and makes two repetitive noises on power-up until it stops making noises completely.
Drive has not been physically altered, modified, all original parts, enclosure, has not been opened, etc.
Thank You for recovery.
Broken Samsung HM500JI Spinpoint from Hayward California
Clicking hard drive makes lots of noisy sound. Tried connecting it to an external drive via USB. Still not accessible. Hope you can make successful data recovery for my bad hard drive. I like the idea of a flat rate, it seems reasonable and fair and somewhat I can afford.
Great Job! Clone is working and booting up flawlessly, the destination hard drive with files will be my plan 'B' in case something unexpected will come my way... can't be so sure abut anything. The only thing I can be sure about is Data Lab 247 service; my highest recommendation will go to every one down here. The domestic recovery service maybe as good as you are, but the money they ask for it is beyond common sense, at least for me! Rodney J.
